Sizzla Finally Gets Grammy Nod For 2014 Best Reggae Album

With well over 30 albums and compilations released, for the very first time ever, the Grammy seems to have taken note of Sizzla’s music and given him a nod  for the competitive 2014 Best Reggae Album Grammy award for his 30th studio album, “The Messiah”. Also nominated for Best Reggae Album are;

Beres Hammond – One Love , One Life

Ziggy Marley – Ziggy Marley in Concert

Sly & Robbie and the Jam Masters – Reggae Connection

Snoop Lion – Reincarnation

This is Beres’ second nomination, undoubtedly Snoop Lion’s (aka Snoop Dogg) very first nomination in the category however often charted territories for Sly & Robbie and Ziggy Marley who has won the most Grammy Awards from the list.

The 56th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on January 26, 2014, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The show will broadcast on CBS at 8 p.m. ET/P.

With such a competitive league, we bet the winner will be a surprise. Who y’all think will take it home?
